An Edinburgh marketing communications company has been nominated in four categories in one of the marketing industry's top awards.
Multiply's shortlisting in the Marketing Industry Awards (MiAwards) is in the categories of Best Integrated Agency, Best Marketing Agency, Marketing Personality of the Year and Scottish Company of the Year. Depending on how it fares, it could go on to win the Grand Prix award.
The 40-strong company is looking to go one better than last year when it picked up three titles in the inaugural MiAwards. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Manchester on Thursday.
The personality title has shortlisted founding partner, Mark Fowlestone. A speech by him will help determine whether Multiply reach the Grand Prix final.
Founded seven years ago, Multiply's clients include Highland Spring, RBS, Standard Life, Huggies, Highland Park, The Macallan and Pilsner Urquell.
In a statement, Multiply director Kate Fenton said: “We were blown away to win three categories at the first MiAwards so just to be nominated again in these various disciplines is an achievement in itself.
“Regardless of the results, being nominated shows our staff and their collective talents are creating a very strong impression amongst our peers in what is an incredibly competitive industry.
“We will all be rooting for Mark in his bid to lift the Marketing Personality award and I am sure his Grand Prix speech won't be a run-of-the-mill awards-style affair.”
