A former Aberdeen bureau chief at the Daily Record newspaper begins a new chapter in his career today – in PR.
Bob Dow has been doing some TV work for BBC and ITV, plus consultancy and media emergency response work, since being made redundant from the Record in April last year, after 19 years with the paper.
Today, he begins as group communications manager at ANM Group Ltd., based at Thainstone near Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. ANM is one of Britain’s biggest agri-businesses with nine companies stretching from Caithness to South Yorkshire, a turnover in excess of £110 million and 500 employees. It will be a wide-ranging role, responsible for all group external and internal communications.
