AN Aberdeen-based, Bangladeshi-born journalist, who had latterly run her own PR and events company in the Granite City, has been killed, and her two young children seriously injured, in a car crash on the main road from Aberdeen to Dundee.
Limi Mostafa was a passenger in the car being driven by her accountant husband, which crashed on the A90.
In various reports of her death, Ms Mostafa was said to have been the founder editor of Bangladesh’s leading business magazine, The Executive Times. In Aberdeen, among other things, she is reported to have worked as PR manager at the Spice Mill Restaurant, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, plus run her own events company.
Firoz Zoha, owner of the Spice Mill, is quoted, saying: “She was a very charming woman, very smart and outgoing. Limi cared deeply about her job. She was generous and kind, and wanted to make everyone around her happy.”
Her children were being treated in hospital. In a Press & Journal report, her husband is is quoted, saying: “I beg everyone to pray for my daughters and for them to come back to me.”
