A Glasgow-based PR agency has won the PR contract for one of Scotland's best-known food brands.
3×1 won a three-way pitch to secure the consumer and trade account for Baxters Food Group, believed to be worth a six-figure sum.
Says a 3×1 statement: “The agency will work with new marketing director, Yvonne Adam and Colette Gourlay, marketing communications manager.
“3×1 will dovetail the work being undertaken by Baxters’ other agencies including JWT for brand advertising and digital and Mediacom for media planning.”
It's not known who the two other agencies competing for the contract were.
The statement quotes 3×1 founding director, Cameron Grant: “Baxters is one of the UK’s most prestigious brands and its strong Scottish roots and family heritage make for an exciting PR programme. We are looking forward to working with the Baxters marketing team to help drive the brand forward in 2011 and beyond.”
3×1 Public Relations was last year named PR Consultancy of the Year at the Chartered Institute of Chartered Relations (Scotland) Awards.
