Scots scoop quartet of UK PR awards

A QUARTET of Scots entries have triumphed in a competition celebrating the best of public relations in the UK.

Across 24 awards categories in the competition – run by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations – VisitScotland took three prizes, with Artisan PR taking another.

VisitScotland took the ‘Measurement and evaluation’ title, plus the ‘Best publication’ and ‘Outstanding in-house public relations team’ accolades.

Meanwhile, Borders-based Artisan scooped the ‘Not-for-profit’ category for ‘The Flight Fantastic’ – for exhibitions hosted by the National Museum of Flight.

The competition is called the CIPR Grand Prix.

Says Debbie Byers, chair of CIPR Scotland: “To win a CIPR Grand Prix Award is a fantastic achievement, demonstrating to colleagues and clients a commitment to excellent practice and results. This year’s winners all produced outstanding campaigns and are deserved winners. I send my congratulations to all.”
