THE contract to run a public relations campaign to improve the image of Falkirk – as a place to live, invest in and work – has been won by one of Scotland’s best-known PR agencies.
Smarts has been appointed to handle the PR for My Future’s in Falkirk, launched seven years ago by Falkirk Council, Scottish Enterprise and BP, among others.
Says Fergus Reid, a director at Smarts: “We are thrilled to be part of such an important regeneration project, not only for Falkirk, but for all of Scotland too. We are looking forward to delivering a new communications strategy and to engaging with the key stakeholders in order to highlight the economic, social and leisure opportunities Falkirk has to offer.”
Established 20 years ago, Smarts runs offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, plus staff in sister agencies in Belfast and Birmingham.
It is part of London-based Media Square plc.
