A former journalist on STV North, who now runs her own communications agency, is in the running for a prize at the Association of Scottish Businesswomen Awards.
Pauline Cook, who owns Frasermedia, is in contention for the award for young business of the year. This award recognises the innovation and sustainability of businesses under three years old.
The company – which has just appointed its first member of staff, Leigh-Ann Rogie, delivers a number of services – including media response training, presentation skills training, DVD filming and production, editorial, voiceovers and PR.
The awards ceremony is taking place on Friday.
