THE recent head of PR at the publishers of the Scottish Daily Express, OK! magazine and the Daily Star is to run the Edinburgh-based Scotland office of a PR agency specialising in travel, leisure and business tourism.
Nicola Cutler is the new account director for Scotland on behalf of Davies Tanner PR agency, which has operated an office in Edinburgh for the last two years.
She joins from Northern & Shell where she held the position of head of Group PR for their consumer titles, which include the Express, Sunday Express and OK! magazine. Her appointment signals an expansion of the Davies Tanner operation in Scotland, underlined by a move to larger offices, in the capital’s George Street.
Also just joined is Laura Rochester, as an account executive, from PR agency, Perception.
Says Davies Tanner’s managing director, Robert Wright: “This is an exciting time for our business, particularly in Scotland, where we are making some significant investments over the coming years.
