The deadline for entries is looming for a photographic competition celebrating the landscapes of Scotland.
The Scottish Nature Photography Awards 2010 aim to showcase photographic talent which is inspired by nature and wildlife in the country.
Pictures taken in Scotland by professional, semi-professional or amateur photographers can be entered. The four categories are Scottish wildlife, Scottish landscape, natural abstract and environmental – with the winners of these competing for the overall title of Scottish Nature Photographer of the Year.
The prizes on offer include a workshop with award-winning Strathspey-based photographer Neil McIntyre, a hotel break in Aviemore, and gift vouchers.
Entries must be received by the end of November and all winning images will be included in a touring exhibition next year.
