THE Famous Grouse Experience at Glenturret Distillery in Crieff has been shortlisted by the Chairman of Marketing Society Scotland as a potential recipient of the prestigious Chairman’s Award for First Time Entrant at this year’s Marketing Society Star Awards.
The category, which cannot be entered into directly, is specially selected from a whole field of entries for those businesses that deserve recognition.
Other businesses shortlisted include Aberdeen University, Edinburgh Council, The National Lottery, Princes Food & Drink and WM Grant/OVD.
The shortlisting is the second for the distillery, whose marketing executive, Sarah Duncan has also been shortlisted in the category of Rising Marketing Star in recognition of her work surrounding the Royal Visit of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge in 2014.
Stuart Cassells, general manager at The Famous Grouse Experience, commented:
“I am very proud to see The Famous Grouse Experience shortlisted in one of the Chairman’s categories and especially proud of Sarah.
“I am looking forward to celebrating the team’s achievements on the night. It’s a tremendous achievement to be shortlisted.”
The Famous Grouse Experience is currently UK Whisky Visitor Attraction of the Year.
