HERE is your chance to find out more about uncontrolled seizures and some options to help difficult epilepsy!
Come and be updated at Epilepsy Scotland’s free information event in Perth from 10am – 2pm on Saturday 2 May in the town’s AK Bell library.
Our ‘Epilepsy – choices beyond drugs’ event is for anyone whose seizures are not fully-controlled, as well as families and carers who want the latest information.
Speakers and informal workshop discussions will look at epilepsy surgery, vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) and the ketogenic diet.
This event is open to the public.
Trained staff will be on hand to listen to your questions and explain what services and support is available for those with unmanageable epilepsy.
Participants can also take away literature and details of Epilepsy Scotland’s confidential freephone helpline, website, and training courses.
Anyone wishing to attend can reserve a free place by contacting Rosemary Charlton at Epilepsy Scotland: rcharlton@epilepsyscotlsand.org.uk
