Designed to make life easier for those travelling with small children, a family resource centre with laundry facilities, microwave and ice machine will also be sited on each floor.
Richard Small, general manager, speaking of the plans, said: “Adding this new style of accommodation is a result of listening to guest feedback. We hope that the look, feel and style of these rooms will appeal to both our existing customer base as well as attracting new customers to Auchrannie.”
Linda Johnston, executive director, commented: “Expansion of our room stock will help the resort to achieve sustainability, putting more guests on site to use the extensive facilities we have invested in over the last few years.”
The new rooms and suites will open the public on May 22nd.
Prices for two adults sharing on bed and breakfast in a new executive double/twin start from £134, including luxurious accommodation, full Scottish breakfast, access to the resorts leisure facilities and, for passengers arriving on foot, complimentary transfers to and from Brodick ferry terminal.

The Isle of Arran
The Isle of Arran – located off the Ayrshire coast, it is Scotland’s most accessible Island. Frequent ferry services link Arran with Ardrossan in Ayrshire and Cloanaig in Kintyre.
The ferry port of Ardrossan is less than 40 minutes’ drive from both Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick airport, making Arran the perfect destination for a short break or longer holiday whether travelling from Scotland, the rest of the UK or indeed across Europe.
Often referred to as ‘Scotland in Miniature’, the island appeals to families, couples and group travellers – seven golf courses, two castles, numerous beaches, a distillery, brewery and an abundance of wildlife all surrounded by stunning scenery.
