A LEADING Scottish insurance and financial advisory firm has opened a new Edinburgh office to meet growing demand from clients across the Central Belt.
McHardy & Borland Group, which comprises McHardy Financial (Independent Financial Advisors), and Borland Insurance (Insurance Brokers), has recently opened a new office in Rutland Square in Edinburgh city centre, as part of its continued expansion.
The two-storey 1500 sq ft office building, which is located in the heart of the financial district of Edinburgh, has been recently refurbished and will initially accommodate 12 employees. The group, which has specialised in corporate and private financial and insurance advice since 1987, expects to create a number of employment opportunities later in the year, as business growth continues.
Chief executive of McHardy Financial, Ross Smith, said: “Borland & McHardy have worked together effectively to offer valued financial and insurance solutions to their clients and expand the business across Scotland. Opening a new office in the heart of Edinburgh is essential in our long-term growth plans and will enable us to accelerate further growth.
