AN independent well management firm has rounded off its second year of business by securing further contracts with six global operators worth in excess of £1million.
Zenith Energy, which is based at Bon Accord Square in Aberdeen, has agreed a number of contracts in the last three months to provide various well engineering and planning services, taking the firm’s client list to 18.
The specialist well engineering and project management firm, which was launched in 2012, has also strengthened its technical team with five key appointments including, two senior drilling engineers, a drilling engineer, a logistics superintendent and a senior completions engineer, increasing the total number of employees to 18.
Managing director of Zenith Energy, Martin Booth, said: “As a completely independent firm, Zenith Energy has continued to experience exceptional growth in the last three to six months, with several new contract wins from both existing and new clients, which is fantastic as we enter our third year of business. We now have a very strong track record working in the UKCS, West of Ireland, Norway, France, West Africa, East Africa and The Americas carrying out a variety of work for a number of operators, including Dana Petroleum, EnQuest, CNR International, Glencore, LGO Energy and Heritage Oil.
“Due to the recent growth, we have continued to expand our in-house team with highly experienced personnel to ensure we deliver a quality and consistent service on every project to meet and exceed our clients’ needs. These additional contracts place us in a strong position as we work towards our overall goal of becoming internationally recognised as the premier provider of independent well management.”
Zenith Energy, which recently expanded into its new 2,100 sq ft four storey premises in Aberdeen’s city centre, will be exhibiting at the upcoming PROSPEX Fair in London at stand two on the 10 and 11 December.
