AN Aberdeen-based private medical clinic is celebrating after winning prestigious accolades at industry awards held in London recently.
Temple Medical, which was launched in 2010 by qualified GP Dr Sam Robson, secured the award for Best Non-Surgical Makeover and the highly commended title in the Best Clinic Team category at this year’s MyFaceMyBody awards.
The awards, which are now in their third year, recognise clinics for product innovation, popularity, exceptional experience and outstanding customer service, all of which was voted on by their customers and a panel of judges within the health and beauty industry.
Temple Medical, which is based in Aberdeen city centre, won the best non-surgical makeover category, in recognition for its transformation of a patient who lost 10.5 stone through its weight-loss programme and dramatically improved her appearance with specialised skincare and aesthetic treatments.
The weight loss programme, Alizonne Therapy®, was further endorsed when it secured the best weight loss programme title, beating three other programmes from across the UK. Temple Medical is the only clinic in the North-east to deliver the weight loss and body contouring programme and is now one of the leading Alizonne® clinic’s in Scotland and number four in the UK, with more than 60 patients per week achieving life changing results.
Medical director at Temple Medical, Dr Sam Robson, said: “I am over the moon to have won two awards at the MyFaceMyBody awards ceremony this weekend. It was a great honour to reach the finalist stages never mind winning and to share this moment with the team is a huge boost to us all.
“We were the only Scottish clinic in four award categories so it’s great to be acknowledged and recognised by some of the industry’s leading individuals is an accolade in itself. It is also great to see Alizonne secure an award as we are very proud to be the only clinic in the North-east with this award winning programme and delighted to see it get the recognition it deserves.”
Stephen Handisides, founder of MyFaceMyBody, said: “The MyFaceMyBody Awards have been designed to recognise and reward clinics for exceptional experiences and outstanding service to their consumers. Over 20,000 consumers voted on the categories and a panel of international judges oversaw the procedure. This means that for Temple Medical to win Best Clinic Team and for Dr Sam Robson to win Best Non-Surgical Makeover, it is an incredible achievement.”
Temple Medical, which is at the forefront of the medical aesthetics and weight loss management industry in Scotland, is also in the final stages of the Aesthetics Awards for Best Clinic Scotland and Clinic reception team of the year which take place on 6 December in London.
