AN Aberdeen-based private medical clinic has more than doubled its patient and employee numbers, just a year after expanding into a new clinic four times the size of its previous base.
Temple Medical, which is led by qualified GP Dr Sam Robson, has experienced significant growth since relocating to new city centre premises on West Craibstone Street, and has recently made several key appointments, nearly doubling staff numbers from eight to 15.
The clinic, which was established in 2007, has recently appointed a new doctor, three therapists, and two receptionists to strengthen the team and meet the increasing demand for its services. Dr Joanna Green will focus on the clinic’s medically supervised weight-loss and body-contouring programme, Alizonne® Therapy, as Temple Medical is now one of the UK’s most successful weight loss clinics, with more than 50 patients per week achieving life changing results.
Medical director at Temple Medical, Dr Sam Robson, said: “In the last three years, the clinic has experienced exceptional growth, with an increasing client base and demand for more treatments which meant we had to move to a much larger space last year. Since then, Temple Medical has gone from strength to strength increasing our client base by 50%, and taking on several new innovative treatments – some of which are exclusive to Temple Medical.
“As such, to maintain excellent customer service, we have had to recruit for new staff and now we are showing signs of out-growing our premises, which is beyond our initial expectations. These new appointments will allow us to expand our treatments and help to keep the clinic at the forefront of the medical aesthetics and weight loss management industry in Scotland.”
Temple Medical has recently become the first clinic in the North-east of Scotland to secure the new Save Face accreditation, a new approval which is aiming to set standards and regulation within the industry. The clinic, which offers a wide selection of innovative treatments including, anti-ageing, weight loss and body contouring and problem skin, is also up for seven national awards this year including Best Clinic, Best Clinic Team and Best Customer Experience.
