A NEW Activity Information Fair will be held at the Nelson Hall, McDonald Road Library, 2-4 McDonald Road, Edinburgh on Tuesday 2 September from 11am to 12.30pm. The Fair will run on the first Tuesday of each month.
Flora Sharp is a member of the partnership organising the fair and she believes it will become a regular event for people to attend to find out what is going on in Edinburgh each month.
“The Activity Information Fair will highlight everything from classes to physical activities, paid or unpaid work, and social opportunities; there are lots of things to do and enjoy!,” said Flora.
“There is no need to make an appointment. Just pop in and find out about courses and learning; drop-in centres offering activities; physical activities; social networks and informal get-togethers; volunteering; getting ready for work and lots more.”
The Activity Information Fair is a joint project, in partnership with Health in Mind, NHS Lothian, the Outlook Project and Volunteer Centre.
