LEADING mid-tier accountancy firm, French Duncan, and legal firm, Turcan Connell, are hosting a free seminar on the latest developments in charity law and accounts at 5pm on Tuesday 19th August at Cowane’s Hospital, Stirling.
The seminar is designed to bring delegates up-to-date with the most recent legal changes, accounting and audit changes which are on the horizon and current knowledge on charity tax matters.
Key topics will include: the latest OSCR reports on charity governance and risk; changes planned to the Charity SORP and the implications for charities; VAT issues for charities, including VAT relief and when to register for VAT; public benefit and the impact of equality legislation as well as key pointers on mergers and joint working opportunities.
