THE 2014 Edinburgh International Culture Summit kicked-off today, Sunday 10 August, with an impressive line-up of global speakers and international delegations at the Scottish Parliament.
Musical pioneer, Jordi Savall, with Hespèrion XXI musicians, delighted the Summit participants and members of the public with a beautiful opening performance of early music.
From Korea to Brazil and South Africa to Northern Ireland – all continents are represented at Summit 2014.
Straight off the back of the success of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, Commonwealth nations including Bangladesh, Zambia, Wales, Isle of Man and United Arab Emirates join delegations from Japan, Mexico, Lithuania and Qatar.
