YOU are invited to the press launch of the opening of The Indian Platform 2 (Southside) restaurant at 340 Ayr Road Newton Mearns Glasgow G77 6RT on Thursday 7th August at 6pm.
The owners (former Scottish Asian Businesswoman of the Year Nasreen Aksi, and Chetan Parmar) have transformed the former Ivy India Restaurant on Ayr Road into The Indian Platform 2 (Southside) with the 130-cover eatery, including a 150-seat function room and a 50-seat private suite, benefitting from a fresh and luxuriant makeover to bring it up to the standards of the popular Indian Platform branding.
And a new menu includes an extensive tandoori selection, including such dishes as: murgh tikka; tandoori jhinga and tandoori machi, its house specialities include: murgh palakdaar; roshan lal; ginger chicken and saag; keema mutter; karahi king prawns; lamb rogan josh; biryani; machi masala and south Indian chilli garlic chicken.
Nas Aksi and Chetan Parmar will be available for interview on the evening.
