THE first round of shortlisting has taken place and finalists have been chosen in all categories of the North West Finance Awards (NWFA).
With just over six weeks to the gala dinner and awards ceremony, over fifty individuals and over sixty companies have been named, including defending award winners, and a host of first-time entrants.
The Macron Stadium (formerly Reebok) in Bolton is once again the venue for the awards, to be held on the evening of Thursday, 25 September.
“I’d like to offer a vote of thanks, and a huge round of applause for every company, team and individual who has made it through the nominations, to reach the finalist round of the North West Finance Awards,” said Steve Crohill, the awards organiser.
“It’s already been a tough task to choose from a record collection of high-quality entries.
“This year, we’ve seen a truly representative selection of the very best of forward-thinking companies and hard-working individuals, from all across the region.”
Shortlisted companies range from insurance giants AXA to peer to peer lending specialists Assetz Capital, and financial services teams and individuals from organisations like rail operator First TransPennine Express to football catering company Fabulous Fan Fayre.
The full list of finalists is published on the website of the North West Finance Awards (www.nwfinanceawards.co.uk).
As the only event of its kind aimed at finance professionals in the North West, the Awards night has built a reputation as the industry event of the year.
Consequently, tickets are in heavy demand. “Finalists have been given priority and a discount until 22 August,” says Steve Crohill. “We’ve already approached finalists personally. We’re encouraging the business community at large to register their interest ahead of general sale.”
To pre-register for tickets for this black-tie event, guests should email info@nwfinanceawards.co.uk, stating their company, their name and the number of individual tickets or tables required.
Although payment is not required at pre-registration, individual tickets are priced at £89.99, and tables for ten at £849.00, plus VAT in both cases.
To help with celebrations, there are prize draws for finalists and pre-registered guests, amounting to champagne on ice at their tables, and a bespoke photoshoot.
“It will be a glittering night, full of fun, great food and, most importantly, celebration,” said Steve Crohill.
