FREE donkey rides return to The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns on the week beginning Monday 28th July till Thursday 31st July at the new public realm space on Ayr Road.
One of the mall’s series of free entertainment activities running from Mondays through to Thursdays from 12pm till 4pm throughout the school summer holidays, the donkeys are back by popular demand to entertain the kids by bringing in a touch of the seaside into the heart of Newton Mearns.
Michelle McCabe, Centre Manager at The Avenue, said: “The donkey rides were one of the most popular summer activities we’ve ever had at the Avenue, so I’m delighted to welcome them back for a return visit. I’m sure the kids will enjoy their donkey rides even more this year, given that we have more room for their rides in our new public realm space.”
Following the donkeys, the final week of free summer fun culminates with an al fresco funzone, including four bed trampoline, slide, soft play and featuring the Irn Bru bus and other activities with AG Barr, from Monday 4th till Thursday 7th August.
