LEADING Scottish legal practice, Miller Samuel, is pleased to announce the appointment of three new Partners, with immediate effect.
Charles Brown joins the Glasgow-based practice with extensive Family Law experience, having been partner and head of the Family Law department for over ten years at his previous firm, McNairs.
His fields of expertise include pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, child residence and contact and relocation of children in the U.K. and abroad.
In addition to his membership of the Family Law Association, Charles is also a member of Consensus Collaboration Scotland and IACP (International Academy of Collaborative Professionals).
Miller Samuel Associates Stephen Connolly and Deborah Carmichael, both of whom have been with the firm since 2006, have also been appointed partners.
Stephen specialises in Employment Law, providing advice to clients on a wide range of issues, acting for both employees and employers. He is a member of both the Employment Lawyers Association and the Scottish Discrimination Law Association.
Deborah becomes a partner within the firm’s Litigation Department where she specialises in commercial litigation.
Her areas of expertise include debt recovery, insolvency, as well as construction, property and contractual disputes. Deborah is currently undertaking a Masters in Advocacy at the University of Strathclyde.
