BOOK fans are getting the chance to meet international best-selling author, Patrick Ness, when he visits intu Braehead on Wednesday (June 11).
The American-born writer, who lives in the UK, is best known for his books for young adults, including the Chaos Walking Trilogy, A Monster Calls and his most recent title, More Than This.
Patrick will talk about his work and answer questions on these books as well as his hugely popular debut novel, The Knife of Letting Go, in the shopping centre’s Curling Rink Bar between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.
The event is being held in conjunction with Waterstone’s bookstore, at intu Braehead where you can book tickets in advance or by phoning 0141 885 9333.
Assistant marketing manager at intu Braehead, Christine Macdonald: “Patrick Ness has had a phenomenal career with A Monster Calls soon to be made into a movie.
“It’s quite a coup for our Waterstone’s branch to attract someone of his standing and popularity to come and give a talk at intu Braehead.”
