NATIONAL sweetheart, Cathy Cassidy, brings Sweet Honey – the fifth title in her bestselling Chocolate Box Girls series – to The Avenue on Friday 6th June for a free book-signing event.
A story about fresh starts, growing up, and realising that you’re never too old to ask for help. Covering themes of cyberbullying and self-esteem, Cathy tackles important subjects with her trademark sensitivity and empathy.
Cathy Cassidy wrote her first picture book for her little brother when she was eight or nine and has been writing ever since. Her books have sold over one million copies in the UK alone. The Sweet Honey launch will take place outside Waterstone’s in the mall from 4.45pm till 6pm.
