AWARD-winning international best-selling author, Jeffery Deaver, returns to The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns on Tuesday 6th May – the only Scottish date on his UK tour to launch The Skin Collector.
Last at The Avenue two years ago to sign copies of his James Bond book Carte Blanche, Deaver returns to read from and sign copies of The Skin Collector, his new Lincoln Rhyme novel and the much anticipated follow-up to The Bone Collector, in a free event organised by Waterstone’s at Primavera from 7pm till 8.30pm.
Widely acknowledged as a master of suspense, Deaver’s rollercoaster plots have made him one of the world’s most successful thriller writers.
In his classic novel, The Bone Collector, he introduced Lincoln Rhyme, a brilliant investigator and forensic detective and a quadriplegic able to use only his mind to outwit evil.
Now a new killer is on the loose: a criminal inspired by the Bone Collector, who terrorised New York over a decade ago. Rhyme must untangle the twisted web of clues before the killer targets more victims – and Rhyme himself.
Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “We’re delighted that Jeffery has chosen to return to The Avenue for the only Scottish date to mark the launch of his new book. Like many of his fans, I can’t wait to meet the author in the flesh!”
To book a space at this free event contact Waterstone’s or Primavera Bistro at The Avenue.
The Avenue Shopping Centre, managed by commercial property consultancy BTWShiells, offers shoppers a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
