SOPHIA Randos from Barrhead won a giant Easter egg from Aquarius/Thorntons as The Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns enjoyed an exceptionally busy Easter with families flocking to its range of free kids events.
Build on its award-winning reputation as Best Family Friendly Shopping Centre, the Avenue hosted an Easter craft workshop followed by the popular kids soft play bus, whilst an Easter egg hunt proved very popular with the kids.
Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “Our events have been very successful this year, attracting around 80 children each day to the craft workshop and 120 a day for the soft play bus!
“And we’ve had an exceptional amount of Easter Egg Hunt entries with lots of kids and families getting involved around the centre to find the hidden eggs.”
The Avenue Shopping Centre, managed by commercial property consultancy BTWShiells, offers shoppers a warm and welcoming shopping experience conveniently located on the outskirts of Glasgow city centre.
