New Saturday show presenter joins Robin Galloway, Ally Bally, Gina McKie, Lorraine Kelly and Ross King in star-studded line-up
BAUER Media Scotland has bolstered its Greatest Hits Network with the appointment of John Leslie, who will present a new daytime Saturday show starting this weekend.
After hosting a number of successful programmes at the end of 2013, including high-profile specials on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, experienced broadcaster, Lesliem will host his first regular show this Saturday, 29 March.
The 10am-2pm show will air across Clyde 2, Westsound, Dumfries, Forth 2, Tay AM, Northsound 2 and Westsound FM every Saturday and feature a mix of classic hits, celebrity interviews and quirky competitions.
Leslie joins Robin Galloway, Ally Bally, Gina McKie, Lorraine Kelly and Ross King – and others – as Bauer Media Scotland continues to invest in its Greatest Hits Network presenter portfolio.
Graham Bryce, group managing director for Bauer in Scotland and Northern England, said: “Following the success of the high profile shows John hosted for us at the end of the year, from which we enjoyed very positive listener feedback, we’re really pleased he’s agreed to present for us on a regular basis.

The Greatest Hits Network encapsulates six local Bauer Media Scotland stations; Clyde 2, West Sound, Forth 2, Tay AM, Northsound 2 and Westsound FM. The new show is part of Bauer’s plans to bring the very best programming to audiences across Scotland, whilw also retaining, producing and broadcasting local news, sport, traffic & travel and “what’s on” information from each of the local Greatest Hits Network stations it serves.
Ahead of his first Saturday show, Leslie said: “I’m absolutely delighted and looking forward to presenting regularly on the Greatest Hits Network, starting this Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed the shows back in December and was given a great welcome by station staff and listeners alike.
“My aim is to complement and add to the terrific content and listener engagement which already runs throughout the Greatest Hits Network and I simply can’t wait to get started.”
