AN Aberdeen-based well engineering and project management company has recently secured a significant contract to provide its first full well management service within 18 months of launching.
Zenith Energy, which was established in 2012, has been awarded the contract with London based Europa Oil and Gas, and will include the provision of well construction and project management services for its UK onshore exploration well at Kiln Lane in PEDL 181, which is expected to be drilled in the second half of 2014.
The specialist well management firm based at Regent Quay, will use its wealth of experience to execute all well planning, regulatory permitting and full project management of the drilling operation. In addition, Zenith Energy will tender for the drilling rig and all associated services.
Managing director of Zenith Energy, Martin Booth, said: “Over the past 18 months, Zenith has developed a strong well engineering team, providing support to 12 different operators in the UK, Norway and West Africa.
“This contract with Europa will offer an opportunity for complete well delivery, providing Zenith with the platform to demonstrate its ability to deliver superior performance using our expert skills and knowledge.”
