FANS of ‘geek culture’ and ‘supernatural drama’ will be thrilled to learn of an upcoming event where they can meet the stars of a new programme.
The Glasgow University Gaming Society will host The Big Geek-End, a convention for shows, artists, comics, gaming, and more. The event will take place at the Queen Margaret Union at the University of Glasgow.
New Glasgow-based supernatural crime drama, Caledonia, will be featured. Stars, Alasdair Reavey (Dorian Grey) and Christopher Stanley (Magnus Grey), will be hosting a live episode screening, discussion, and Q & A session. Fans are welcome to attend.
Caledonia is the story of police officer Leah Bishop, who accepts a transfer and promotion to a Glasgow branch of Interpol. She discovers her new fellow officers are monsters from Scottish folklore, and they have recruited her to help them solve a very human crime: the first serial killing of faeries.
The Big Geek-End will take place on March 1st, 2014, at the Glasgow University Queen Margaret Union. The Caledonia presentation will be at 4:30 pm. The event is free.
Episode 3 of Caledonia is currently airing at www.caledoniaseries.co.uk.
