LEADING casing accessory company, Downhole Products, has announced that its Middle East division has secured yet another significant contract in the region.
At the recent Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) event, the company inked a $1.6 million deal to supply companies in Abu Dhabi.
The work comes via long-term partners Al Ghaith Oilfield Supplies & Service Co, a company which has been working in the UAE for almost 20 years, supplying various equipment to local operators.
Downhole Products’ regional manager, Martin Pirie, said: “This is our company’s largest ever single volume order for centralisers which represents an excellent step forward in terms of our expanding market share in the region, whilst offering our clients a ‘one stop shop’ for casing accessory requirements.
“We have been working closely with our partners Al Ghaith for some 17 years and we are delighted that this partnership continues to blossom for the benefit of both parties, with this contract being a true testament to the ongoing success of our working relationship.”
He added: “Our presence at ADIPEC again generated a large amount of interest from many major companies operating within the MENA Region and we look forward to following these up in the coming weeks and months.”
