Media Release: RS Occupational Health announces key appointments

RSOH Aberdeen Appointments - Shona Wylie, Alannah Paton & Rachel Strachan

A GROWING occupational health team has announced the addition of 11 new faces to the team – with more appointments to follow before the end of the year.

RS Occupational Health recently announced plans to relocate its Aberdeen headquarters to new, larger premises in the city and has invested an initial £250,000 in the launch of a new offshore health division to provide offshore medics and topside cover including 24/7 medical advice to those working in offshore locations throughout the UK sector.

In a bid to meet the demands of the growing business, new members of staff have been added in various departments across all the company’s clinics in Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth and Inverness.

In Aberdeen, Dr Pauline Diack and Dr Sheila Christie recently joined the team medical advisers whilst Alison Thomson became administration manager and Alannah Paton joined the administration team.

Meanwhile, Rachel Strachan was named as the company’s new business development administrator and former administrator Shona Wylie was promoted to the post of business support administrator.

The Great Yarmouth clinic recently welcomed Jo Callaghan to the administration team whilst Ali Mason moved from administration to become clinic co-ordinator.

Inverness trainee administrator, Jannah Ali, was promoted to the job of administrator and was replaced by Corrin Miller who joined the ranks in the trainee administrator’s position.

Nicola Selkirk joined the team in the role of screening nurse.

Commenting on the news, RS Occupational Health chair, Fiona Sommerville, said: “As the company continues to expand at a brisk pace, it is crucial that we have professional, highly trained people in place to ensure consistent high levels of service delivery for our growing number of clients.

“These new members of staff, and the three who will be joining us before the end of the year, will join their colleagues in playing an important role in the future development of RS Occupational Health and we are delighted to welcome them to our team.”
