SHEPHERD Chartered Surveyors has welcomed Neil Calder, who trained with the firm prior to leaving for pastures new, back to the fold in its Inverness office.
Having worked and lived in Inverness for over 13 years, Calder brings with him a wealth of experience to bolster Shepherd’s commercial offering at a time when the property market throughout the Highlands is resurgent.
Neil Calder said: “Having first joined Shepherd’s Inverness office in 2000, whilst attending university on day release to secure my qualifications, and remaining for some six years before moving on, I’m delighted to return to bring my local market knowledge, experience and expertise to strengthen further the commercial services offering available to our expanding client base throughout the Highlands.”
Welcoming the latest recruit back to the fold, Sandy Rennie, head of Shepherd’s commercial department in Inverness, said: “Neil’s appointment consolidates our position as one of the largest firm of surveyors in the city at a time when we are experiencing an exceptional level of deal activity.
“The property market throughout the Highlands is showing clear signs of improvement and we are witnessing a significant increase in interest and completion of deals for properties; a position we have not seen for a number of years, so we are delighted that Neil has chosen to bring his career full-circle by rejoining Shepherd.”
Shepherd’s commercial property offering in Inverness encompasses all major property types including retail, office, business space and industrial.
