GROWING Aberdeen-based oil and gas service company, Centrifuges Un-Limited, has announced the appointment of a new operations manager.
Davie Thomson brings to the role 15 years of onshore and offshore experience gained both in the UK and overseas.
He began his career in labouring and painting/blasting roles on rigs at Invergordon and, prior to joining the team at Centrifuges Un-Limited, he was employed as an international projects manager running contracts in Ghana, the Ivory Coast and Angola as well as in the UK sector of the North Sea where he managed a small team of people.
Centrifuges Un-Limited specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of a range of equipment including fuel/oily water separators, mud coolers for high pressure high temperature (HPHT) fluid management and the Elvos® slops treatment system.
Key markets include Norway, Egypt, Brazil, the Middle East and North Africa as well as the UK, and clients include major operators, drilling contractors and waste management companies.
