What: Dumbreck Decorators, one of Scotland’s oldest decorating companies, is to mark a significant expansion of its operations across Scotland – including the creation of 20 new jobs – at an official opening of its new headquarters in South Glasgow on Thursday November 7th 2013.
Managing director, Mark Johnston, will be available for interview with Glasgow’s Lord Provost Sadie Docherty conducting the official opening with a plaque unveiling.
And many of the firm’s 14 apprentices will be on hand with their mentors to demonstrate their paperhanging, graining and gold leafing skills.

Why: The firm has expanded into the north of Scotland by winning two new major Framework agreements for cyclical maintenance in the last 12 months.
As a result, it has opened a new office in Forfar, increased its workforce by 20 per cent to 100 members of staff and turnover has gone up 27 per cent.
