ACTING on behalf of Eileen Blackburn, of French Duncan Chartered Accountants, administrator of Bo’ness-based construction firm, BMR Developments, Shepherd Chartered Surveyors has sold a portfolio of ten properties to a number of private purchasers.
In addition to a church in Aberfeldy, the properties comprised three vacant development sites, a car park, a development of houses and four retail units, all in Bo’ness.
Sandy Falconer, surveyor at Shepherd, said: “We are delighted to have been able to assist the administrator by securing the sale of this property portfolio to a range of buyers within a limited timeframe.”
Eileen Blackburn, partner and head of Business Recovery and Insolvency at French Duncan, said: “BMR had been involved in building renovation and property development activity but, due to a recent downturn in the market, had encountered cash flow difficulties, leading to our appointment as administrators.
