That’s because, on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October, Asda’s Tickled Pink fete fundraiser for Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign takes place in store with a whole host of fun activities sure to leave you tickled pink.
Claire Rennie, community life champion at Asda Newton Mearns, said: “We will have a range of activities going on in-store over the weekend, including a tombola, a chance to guess the numbers of sweets in the jar and to guess the teddy’s name – with some fabulous prizes up for grabs!
“And on Friday, we’ll be turning The Avenue pink with a number of our fellow retailers joining in the fun in a pink-themed dress down day, helping us attempt to match last year’s fantastic figure of £3,000 raised for Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer Campaign.”
Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “Tickled Pink is always a fun event and I know that our Avenue staff will be going all out to lend their support to help Asda raise funds for such worthy causes.
“And I’m sure that all our shoppers will enjoy getting themselves Tickled Pink this weekend!”
