A STRAWBERRY tea hosted by Crieff solicitors and estate agents, Miller Hendry, has netted Breast Cancer Care a sweet £390.
Long before Wimbledon got into full swing, the property professionals had popped on their pinnies to perfect their scones, while their solicitor colleagues were sent to secure the strawberries, in order to mount a delicious strawberry themed ‘tea’ morning in a bid to raise vital funds for the charity Breast Cancer Care.
Clients and colleagues donated strawberry themed prizes for the raffle, including a bespoke Strawberry handbag donated by Marcus Eagleton which was won by Mrs Shona Coffey, correctly guessing there were 18 strawberries hiding in the jar.
Claire Lennon, an associate with Miller Hendry in Crieff organised the fundraising event.
She commented: “This was all in a good cause, and it was great fun preparing all the strawberry themed food, not to mention eating it on the day. We’re delighted to have raised £390 for Breast Cancer Care.”
