THE Temperley London Pre Fall 2013 collection, Constance, is inspired by the shapes of the 1920’s and the legendary photographer Horst P. Horst’s images. As a result the collection is polished and effortless yet sensual, with elegant understated silhouettes featuring graphic floral embroideries, pleats and lace inserts.
Fabrics are luxurious and include an array of rich structured silks, etched leather, voluminous organza inlaid with lace, heavily appliquéd stitch work delicately placed on fine tulles, Temperley-designed Italian tailoring jacquards and super soft merino, cashmere and angora knitwear. The print of the season is a vibrant engineered feather print, digitally printed onto sumptuous textured silk satin. Embellishments in the Temperley London Pre Fall collection are refined and very delicately placed.
A subtle colour palette of oyster, mint, pale pink, cream and greys sit alongside darker hues of deep navy, petrol, cobalt and teal – all interspersed with hints of shimmering gold and gunmetal.
The result is a Temperley collection that is timeless and sophisticated exuding femininity and refinement.
