Media Release: The third instalment of our summer tips series is here!

Get in the know for local quality produce, organic eco-friendly getaways and country escapes: Midi-Pyrénées, Rhone-Alpes and Savoie Mont-Blanc

YOU’VE got tips on Brittany, Normandy, Aquitaine with Cap Breton and Hossegor, Auvergne, Burgundy, the Nord-Pas de Calais and religious sites you shouldn’t miss.

So here’s what we’ve got for you with this week’s instalment:

Midi-Pyrenees (17/06) – Ever wondered why 25 Michelin-starred chefs, have set up restaurants throughout France’s largest region? The answer is simple – quality produce. We tell you where to go to get your hands on some.

Rhone-Alpes (19/06) – Drawn by the vast unspoilt landscapes and open countryside of the area, it’s no surprise the Ardeche draws visitors and environmentally-friendly companies, in droves. West of the Ardeche is the green Provençal Drôme, France’s top organic county and renowned for its wide range of organic produce: agriculture, and wine.

Focus: Must Do Festivals (20/06) – From June to October, from music to art, and from Champagne-Ardenne to Provence, France has a festival for every age and taste. You’ve got the big names like Festival d’Avignon and Festival de Radio France and Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon alongside the more specialised Roque d’Anthéron and Chorégies d’Orange.

Savoie Mont Blanc (21/06) – Located between lakes and mountains, Savoie Mont Blanc offers a wide range of discoveries: wine routes, natural parks and charming villages. If heights aren’t your thing, the area has delights at a lower altitude as well – starting with 29 Michelin-starred restaurants. But the best part of summer in Savoie Mont Blanc is holidays by the lakes.
