AWARD-winning Holyrood Partnership is celebrating a renewed surge in business in its key food and drink sector with a raft of new client wins.
The agency has landed contracts with five bar, hotel and restaurants groups in Scotland, including G1 Group, the number one independent leisure operator in Scotland, and Mithas, which is tipped to become the first Indian restaurant to win a Michelin star.
Unchained Restaurants, a group which owns two country pubs in East Lothian and the Nachos Fiesta restaurant in Edinburgh, and Maison Bleue restaurant and The Melville Bar, both Edinburgh, make up the rest of the new roster.
Raymond Notarangelo, co director of Holyrood Partnership, which specialises in creating integrated and engaging public relations campaigns, said: “To secure five new contracts in just a matter of weeks is a solid statement of the growing strength of the agency.
“The food and drink sector is where we cut our teeth as a PR agency and we are delighted at the chance to not just relive the past successes but to exceed them.
“Scotland and particularly Edinburgh has a growing food and drink scene just now, with many businesses making a comeback from the recession and all fighting for a viable piece of the market place. As a result many are turning to PR in particular to help tell the stories to ensure their businesses stand out from the crowd.
“That meant that we faced tough competition for these new wins, so it is very pleasing to have clients value our campaign planning and energy and to have them pick us ahead of the competition.
“We are looking forward to working with each of these new clients and have some fantastic ideas lined up for each. And, of course, we’re looking forward to building on this success to land even more business from this sector.”
While each client campaign will have a different focus ranging from media relations, launch events, press trips and even social media and video the core objective of the PR will remain the same, identifying interesting and engaging stories to tell across a variety of media.
Holyrood Partnership has already scored major success in local, national and specialist media for G1 Group, helping raise the profile of its recently refurbished Edinburgh hotels as well as handling the launch of its newest bar Forgan’s in St Andrews and it will continue this success with several further openings for the company over the coming months.
The agency will also work with Unchained Restaurants, which owns Nachos Fiesta in Edinburgh, the Goblin Ha’ in Gifford and The Golf Inn in Gullane, to help attract diners and visitors to each if the venues from both Scotland, the UK and beyond.
Helping celebrate 15 years in business, the PR agency will create an integrated campaign for Maison Bleue on Victoria Street, Edinburgh, involving digital and social media which focuses on the French, North African and Scottish restaurant’s success over the years.
In addition, the Holyrood Partnership will undertake media relations and profile raising for The Meville, a bar which has recently opened in Edinburgh’s West end and Mithas – the only Indian restaurant in Scotland to receive two AA rosettes.
