A NORTH-east reservoir engineering company will be sharing its expertise on the importance of shale gas during a seminar taking place in Aberdeen next week.
Oilgen, which specialises in high-tech reservoir modeling to forecast and improve oil and gas production, will be giving a presentation at the Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society seminar on shale gas evaluation, which takes place at the Station Hotel, Aberdeen on Tuesday (4 June).
The event will include a variety of specialist talks from industry experts on logging, completions, petrophysical workflows, core analysis and core-log integration, giving delegates an excellent overview of the rapidly expanding topic in oil and gas.
Oilgen managing director, Laurent Schirrer, will share his knowledge on reservoir simulation and how to predict gas recovery from shale rocks during the event.
