THE chief executive of Enterprise North East Trust (Enterprise) has joined the board of one of Scotland’s leading organisations for entrepreneurs.
Gary McEwan of Enterprise, which offers a range of services for new and growing businesses across the North-east, has been formally appointed a director of the Entrepreneurial Exchange.
Through its comprehensive programme of events, The Exchange helps inform, motivate, educate, inspire and support entrepreneurs to realise their full potential, and leads the drive to make Scotland a more entrepreneurial and confident society.
Mr McEwan said: “Scotland has a wealth of talented individuals, and I am pleased to be joining the board of the Entrepreneurial Exchange.
“I will help the team lead the drive to make Scotland a more entrepreneurial and confident society for the benefit of all. We will do this by helping small companies get bigger, helping big companies to grow, helping huge companies to improve and for all to put something back by helping other entrepreneurs.”
Enterprise runs a range of events to promote business excellence in the North-east including The Grampian Awards for Business Excellence 2013.
The black tie awards ceremony will be held at Mercure Ardoe House Hotel on Thursday 27 June 2013.
