Media Release: Epilepsy Scotland set to visit Orkney

DON’T miss your chance to find out more about epilepsy!

Visit our information stand at the ‘Living in Orkney with a Long Term Condition’ event at the Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall on 27 April from 10am-3pm.

Trained staff will be on hand to listen to your questions and tell you about our freephone confidential helpline and our website packed with epilepsy information. You can also pick up a free Epilepsy Scotland guide.

Epilepsy Scotland provides training in understanding and managing epilepsy.

It helps raise awareness of epilepsy by giving talks to schools and community groups. It also campaigns for better healthcare and is lobbying health boards, including NHS Orkney, to increase the number of specialist nurses in Scotland.

Our Contact Team are keen to meet people in your area and we’re encouraging people living in Orkney to find out more about epilepsy.

It is a great opportunity to meet us and find out more about local services.

We look forward to seeing you there!
