ANY bride-to-be concerned about just how she will cater for the varied tastes of her wedding party need fret no more – The Quay Complex in Musselburgh has introduced a novel World Banquet to suit all tastes.
This will increase the popularity of The Quay as one of the premier wedding venue in East Lothian and Edinburgh.
As well as keeping the extremely popular weddings menu which already entices over a hundred couples to tie the knot at The Quay, the new, ‘one kitchen, many cuisines’ concept, the brainchild of renowned entrepreneur, Charan Gill MBE, and his daughter, Jaspreet, offers wedding parties an infinite variety of dining options.
Jaspreet Gill, director at The Quay, said: “The idea behind our World Banquet is to bring together various cuisines from different parts of the world so that wedding parties could choose, for example, to enjoy a traditional wedding meal after the ceremony before picking their preferred dishes from an international selection of options for a finger buffet later in the evening.

The Quay has recruited a brigade of chefs from around the world to prepare a range of dishes including pizzas, pastas, Indian, Chinese, sushi, Thai, a carvery, a burger station and vegetarian options as well as a kiddies corner, soups and salads and desserts.
With breathtaking views across the Firth of Forth, The Quay is a perfect romantic setting for an unforgettable wedding. As well as holding wedding ceremonies at the quayside, up to 200 weddings guests can be accommodated at the complex’s Arthur Suite, while its Vass Suite can accommodate up to 100 guests.
The Quay Complex is located just five miles from the centre of Edinburgh on the A1 at the picturesque harbour of Fisherrow in Musselburgh, overlooking the Firth of Forth.
