LUXURY venue, the Roxburghe Hotel in Heiton, near Kelso, is offering a special Mother and Daughter package to celebrate Mother’s Day, which is on 10 March 2013.
The Mother and Daughter Weekend includes pampering treats and the best in luxury and relaxation, giving the chance for some special mother and daughter bonding.
The package includes bed and breakfast in a twin room; either a joint clay pigeon shooting lesson or a round of golf on the championship golf course; afternoon tea for two by the fire in the library; and can include a manicure or pedicure each.
Rounding off the experience will be a delicious dinner in the Dining Room, with its views over the spreading lawns of the estate. Created by head chef, Neville Merrin, and his team, the meal will include the best in local, seasonal produce.
After dinner, the two special ladies can enjoy a chat over coffee or a dram by one of the roaring fires before retiring to the comfort of their room.
Part of the Roxburghe Estate which includes the historic Floors Castle, the 22 bedroom hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment of its public rooms, introducing country house style with a contemporary twist.
