CHIVAS Brothers, the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, has donated £28,000 to four good causes after employees were invited to nominate and then vote for their Charities of the Year 2013.
The charities, listed below, have each received £7,000 and span across the main geographical areas of the business. They are:
- Dumbarton and District Disabled Children’s Forum (Dunbartonshire region)
- Erskine (Paisley, Glasgow and Ayrshire region)
- CHAS (Northern Scotland region)
- After Adoption (London and Plymouth region)
Vanessa Wright, communications director for Chivas Brothers, said: “I’m delighted to announce the four very deserving charities that have been chosen by our employees to receive £7,000 each.
These are very meaningful causes to many of our employees, and the fact that they chose these good causes themselves makes the donations all the more special.”
