IT’S a case of third time lucky for Dave Fenwick who has been appointed by Shepherd Chartered Surveyors to the newly-created post of technical surveyor in charge of audit and risk assessment.
The appointment marks the third time in his career that Dundee-born and Aberdeenshire-bred Fenwick has joined the leading national property service.
Having first joined Shepherd’s Edinburgh office over 20 years ago, Fenwick subsequently left the firm to work for another private practice before returning to the Shepherd fold to open its Stirling office.
Leaving once more to join Halifax, where he ended up as one of four regional managers throughout the UK at Colleys, part of Lloyd Banking Group, Fenwick now returns to Shepherd’s Stirling office as technical surveyor with responsibility for auditing the residential valuation reports produced by its surveyors throughout the country.
Commenting on his appointment, Linlithgow resident, Fenwick, said: “I’m delighted to join the Shepherd fold for a third time in my career to a post created with the aim of helping the firm remain at the forefront in the provision of clear audit processes that are absolutely current in an ever-developing marketplace, thereby enabling Shepherd to ensure its standards are maintained at the highest level to the advantage of our clients.”
