THIS Friday (February 1 2013) sees the launch of the Grampian Trades Awards.
Trades businesses from across the North-east are invited to enter the awards to gain recognition for their achievements in business.
The inaugural awards will be run by trades support company, TradesAdvisor, in a bid to promote trades businesses across the region and showcase their work.
The awards will be presented at a glitzy Awards Ceremony at Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen, on June 6 2013. In addition to promoting trades businesses, TradesAdvisor will be fundraising on the run-up to this prestigious event and donating all proceeds to Aberdeen-based charity, Befriend a Child.
Director, Darren Ross, said: “We are very excited about the launch of the Grampian Trades Awards and have already received a lot of interest.
“There are some great trades businesses out there and these awards will give them the accreditation they deserve. It’s a great opportunity for trades businesses to raise their profile and we look forward to receiving the applications.”
The awards are open to all trades businesses across the region and are free to enter. There are 11 awards up for the taking, covering eight categories: Home Improvement, Best Trades Business, Trades Employer of the Year, Excellence in IT, Overall Trades Business of the Year, New Business Award, Innovation and Best in Customer Service.
An independent panel of judges will assess the applications, with finalists being announced in April.
The deadline for applications is Sunday March 31 2013.
