BRIDES and grooms-to-be are invited to take the stress out of planning by attending this year’s Your Wedding Exhibition, which organisers promise will be their biggest and best wedding show yet.
The annual event, which takes place on January 19 and 20 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, has attracted over 60 brand-new exhibitors. Happy couples will be able to peruse 230 exhibits from Scotland-wide companies, and those as far as Birmingham, who will be on-hand to discuss each and every decision ahead of the ‘big day’.
Including everything from the traditional to the more unique, there will not only be a ten-metre bus and six cars from Rainbow Prestige in the arena, but also an exhibit from Aberdeen’s The Dapper Dog – a dog grooming business which operates out of a quirky ambulance-style vehicle, complete with wash facilities to ensure your pampered pooch is all set for its role on the ‘big day’.
Your Wedding Exhibition’s director, Simon Morgan, is particularly excited ahead of this year’s show. He said: “The level of interest from new exhibitors has been exceptionally high so the whole team is looking forward to what will undoubtedly be our biggest and best offering to future brides and grooms who have a lot of decisions to make.
“Our 45-minute 800-seat fashion shows will be twice-daily and include dozens of top designers, providing more than enough food for thought in what we aim to be a relaxed and appealing setting.
“For the males attending, whether voluntary or otherwise, we have a brand new chill-out area which will include gaming consoles and comfortable seating with added segways so we really do have something for everyone.”
Banchory’s Deeside Photographic, who is celebrating its 30th year in business, will be exhibiting, having attended every show since its inception in 1996. Owner and award-winning photographer, Logan Sangster, said: “Your Wedding Exhibition is the key event in the calendar for all those operating within wedding circles. I’m very much looking forward to the biggest show yet and I am sure it will prove to be a fun day weekend once again, but also very successful in terms of new business.
“It really is a great audience and an excellent opportunity for us all to celebrate and shout about the part we can play for a wedding.”
